Global Governance Group

Terms of Sale

The terms that apply to courses, diagnostics and books bought from Global Governance Group, and to use of this website.

Effective 1 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply when you buy from, or send an enrolment request to, Global Governance Group ("GGG") through this website. They should be read with our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy. By ticking the box at checkout you confirm that you have read and accept them.

GGG and PECB

GGG is an authorised PECB training partner. When you buy a PECB course, GGG enrols you and supports you, and PECB provides the eLearning platform, the exam and the certification. Your use of PECB’s platform and your certification are also subject to PECB’s own terms and certification rules, which PECB makes available when your account is created.

Prices, GST and currency

Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where GST applies. Amounts shown in other currencies are indicative conversions for your convenience only; every payment is charged in AUD, and your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion rate and fees.

Items marked "Price on request" have no fixed fee on the website. GGG confirms the fee in writing before you are asked to pay anything. We may change prices on the website at any time, but a change does not affect an order we have already confirmed.

How ordering works

If every item in your basket has a price, checkout takes your details and then sends you to PayPal to pay. Your order is accepted when payment clears and we confirm it by email.

If your basket contains any item marked "Price on request", including a basket that mixes priced and unpriced items, no payment is taken at checkout. Your whole basket is sent to GGG as one enrolment request. We reply, normally within one business day, with the confirmed fees and a single payment link or invoice for the full order. The order is accepted when you pay that link or invoice.

We may decline an order, for example if a course is unavailable or a price was displayed in error. If we decline after you have paid, we refund you in full.

Payment

Online payments are processed by PayPal. You can pay by card without a PayPal account. GGG never sees or stores your card details. Organisations can ask to be invoiced instead; invoices are payable within 14 days unless we agree otherwise in writing, and enrolment is completed once payment is received.

Delivery

For PECB eLearning, we arrange your access within two business days of payment clearing, and PECB emails your login. Live classes, diagnostics and assessments are scheduled with you after payment. For The Corporate Governance Companion, we confirm delivery details with you before dispatch, including any delivery charge, which you agree before it is added.

Your consumer guarantees

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Exams and results

Passing a PECB exam and being granted a certification depend on your own performance and on PECB’s certification requirements. GGG cannot guarantee that you will pass or be certified. Advisory and diagnostic findings are professional opinions based on the information you give us.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, and subject always to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, GGG’s liability for a failure to comply with a guarantee in relation to services not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Using this website

The content on this website, including text, drawings, logos and course descriptions, belongs to GGG or is used with permission, and may not be copied or republished without our written consent. PECB and ISO names and marks belong to their owners. Course information is accurate when published but may change; the details confirmed with your enrolment apply. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and you and GGG submit to the courts of that state. If you have a question or a complaint about an order, email operations@governancegroup.org. We aim to resolve it within ten business days.
